Harris Kaplan, a native of Westmount, near Montréal (and cousin to Leonard Cohen), has led a life of dedicated service. He and his wife, Arlene, served as directors of the Montréal TM Centre and were pioneering figures at Canada's first in-residence TM facility, Académie Château Lac-Beauport. After teaching TM full-time, Harris transitioned to the financial sector, where he had a successful career as a fund manager.
