He is the author or co-author of over 60 scientific papers on TM\u00a0and his seminal papers published in Science (in 1970), the American Journal of Physiology (1971), and Scientific American (1972), showed\u00a0that the Transcendental Meditation\u00ae technique produced a fourth major state of consciousness different than waking, sleeping, or dreaming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nat Goldhaber, MA, EdD (H.C.)<\/strong> learned TM in 1965 and met Maharishi for the first time shortly after that.
