This is an opportunity to take your TM experience to the next level.\u00a0You will also enjoy instruction in basic yoga postures and interesting knowledge about the development of higher states of human consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>As a special bonus we are happy to announce that David Shaw, Advanced Technique teacher from Toronto, will join us for the weekend to give instruction and checking in the Advanced Techniques of TM.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">Advanced Techniques take the experience to a new level and are a great way to accelerate one&rsquo;s progress.<\/p>\n<p>Participants on TM Retreats report that even one such weekend eliminates deep-seated stress and tension and boosts energy, clarity, happiness, and health for months afterwards.\u00a0Courses are held in a settled, relaxed atmosphere, away from home and work responsibilities and close to nature. Meditator retreats are truly a \u201ctreat\u201d you can give yourself.\u00a0Your course leaders will be Michael Larrass and Mary Glasser, certified TM teachers with many years teaching experience.<\/p>\n<p>Weekend highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">A thorough review of the basics of TM<\/li>\n<li>Checking of Advanced Techniques for those who have learned<\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">Tips to maximize the benefits from your daily practice<\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">Daily group meditations and personal checking<\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">Delicious meals<\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph-spacing-none\">Opportunity for discussions and Q &amp; A with Certified TM Teachers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Manoir de la for\u00eat provides a welcoming atmosphere conducive to rest and relaxation near the Gatineau River in Cantley, Quebec, a short 20-minute drive from downtown Ottawa.\u00a0<u>www.manoirdelaforet.com<\/u>\u00a0The retreat begins with dinner Friday and concludes with lunch on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Course participants enjoy a comfortable, private room with a shared bath and scenic views of the forest and river.\u00a0The facility has recently been tastefully upgraded.\u00a0Enjoy delicious, freshly prepared, vegetarian meals.\u00a0The chef is happy to accommodate gluten-free, allergies, and other special diets with advance notice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course fee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cost for the weekend is $655 (tax included) per person for a private room, all meals, snacks, and course. Payment is by cheque or money order. We are normally unable to give refunds unless your spot can be taken by someone else.<\/p>\n<p>To apply for an Advanced Technique,\u00a0<u>please indicate that you wish to apply for an AT and which AT you wish to receive<\/u>\u00a0(First, Second, Third or Fourth). Advanced Techniques are charged separately and are payable by Credit Card or Cheque. Cost for each AT is $1,400 plus tax. If you register to take all four Advanced Techniques in one year, the cost is $2,696 and can be paid in installments over the year.
