With TM Teacher Andy Guest.

Join us for an insightful recorded session with Dr Guy-Paul Gagné, who will shed light on the distinctions between the three main categories of meditation, and how the various techniques differ in terms of effort, effects, and benefits.

During the session, you will learn about:

  • Automatic Self-Transcending, found in Transcendental Meditation, is characterized by its effortless and transformative nature.
  • Focused Attention, which encompasses techniques like Zen and Vipassana, requires concentration and strong effort.
  • Open Monitoring, which involves practices such as Mindfulness and Kriya Yoga, calls for dispassionate observation with moderate effort.

Dr Gagné, a medical doctor with extensive experience in lecturing about TM, will delve into the scientific rationale behind these classifications and examine the unique effects of TM in comparison to other meditation practices on the brain and body.

His expertise allows him to present complex research findings in a manner accessible to all audiences.
