In the Vedic Tradition, the source of knowledge for Transcendental Meditation, the full moon of July is celebrated as Guru Purnima — the day of the Guru.

Once a year, on the first full moon after the summer solstice, we celebrate and honour the teachers of our tradition. In the TM organization, we pay homage to Guru Dev, Maharishi’s teacher.

The full moon symbolizes the fullness of life — Guru Dev’s teachings revived the message of living fullness of life.

Schedule: 

• Arrival at 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm
• The traditional ceremony of gratitude
• A 20-minute group meditation
• Refreshments
• Video presentation of the life of Guru Dev
