With TM Teacher John Cowhig and Special Guest Peter Swan.

Dr. Peter Swan, from South Africa, is a senior leader and Head of Communication for the International TM Organization. Since 2006, he has hosted the news programme Global Family Chat from the Netherlands, available at: https://maharishichannel.in/index.php/maharishi-channel-3-video-archives/.

He holds degrees of Doctor of Science of Creative Intelligence and Doctor of World Peace.

Working directly with Maharishi, Dr. Swan guided Maharishi Vedic Organic farm projects across four continents. These initiatives implemented techniques that improved soil, crop quality, and yields, while reducing labour and pollution. The projects incorporated innovative approaches such as the soil food web and soil microscopy, alongside methods including no-till, bonfils, and alley-cropping. Dr. Swan also developed a university curriculum for Vedic Organic Agriculture and Gardening: http://www.vedicorganic.org/

For centuries, natural farming thrived on a respectful partnership between humans and Nature, consistently producing abundant and nourishing food. Farmers honored Nature’s intelligence, cultivating their land in harmony with the environment.

However, modern agricultural technologies, driven by a focus on maximizing productivity and profit, have separated us from Nature. This estrangement has disrupted farming worldwide, burdening the environment with soil erosion, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and GMOs. Consequently, our food now lacks essential purity and nutrients.

These practices have also contributed to environmental instability, manifesting as droughts, floods, water shortages, and extreme temperatures that threaten global food security. Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture demonstrates that restoring harmony with Natural Law can prevent or mitigate such natural disasters.

Please join us to hear Peter Swan share his experiences working with Maharishi on these and other projects.

Begins with a 20-minute group meditation at 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT
