With TM Teacher John Cowhig and Special Guest Dr. Cesar Molina.

Cardiologist César Molina, M.D., F.A.C.C., explores the importance of keeping both mind and body in balance amidst the pressures of contemporary life. He also explains why it is so crucial for doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals themselves to stay grounded and centred if they want to give their patients the best possible care.

Dr. Molina is a highly sought-after, widely published, Silicon Valley physician and leader in community and corporate wellness programmes. As the Medical Director of the South Asian Heart Center at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California, he helps create health management programmes that address the twin epidemics of heart disease and diabetes.

He has appeared on the international edition of CNN, discussing how diet, exercise, and the Transcendental Meditation technique can support heart health and help with coronary artery disease. His research papers have been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the American Journal of Physiology.

Dr. Molina received his medical training at Yale University and his advanced training in cardiology at Stanford University Medical School, where he later became a faculty member. He currently holds dual fellowships in cardiology and clinical pharmacology from Stanford University Medical Center.

In 1972, during his senior year of high school in Puerto Rico, Dr. Molina learned TM, and in 2023, he completed the TM Teacher Training Program. Now, alongside his medical practice, he enjoys teaching TM at the Palo Alto TM Center in California.
