DESCRIPTION:With Deboragh Varnel\, Certified TM Teacher \nPlease join us for an in-person group meditation & knowledge and experience meeting  on Thursday\, October 31 at 7:00 pm in Port Coquitlam. Each session begins with a full  20-minute group meditation. \nTopic: The Maharishi Effect\, a scientifically proven brain-based approach to peace with Dr. John Hagelin. \nAt a global event held in Monterrey\, Mexico in September\, 15 Nobel Peace Prize winners\, renowned leaders of peace organizations\, distinguished academics\, and more than a thousand university students gathered from around the world to discuss seven key themes relating to peace. The gathering was the 19th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. Renowed quantum physicist and Maharishi International University’s President John Hagelin presented a timely and powerful presentation entitled\, “brain-based approach to peace” that offers a scientifically-validated\, field-tested\, low-cost solution to the perennial problem of war and violence in the world. \nEnjoy this opportunity to meet other meditators and deepen your understanding  of your TM practice. You’ll leave feeling connected\, inspired\, and informed! \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
