DESCRIPTION:With Deboragh Varnel\, Certified TM Teacher \nPlease join us for an in-person group meditation & knowledge and experience meeting  on Thursday\, June 20 at 7:00 pm in Port Coquitlam. Each session begins with a full  20-minute group meditation. \nTopic: Am I Transcending?  \nIn this informative talk\, Maharishi addresses the question that many meditators ask. Am I transcending? \nMaharishi provides a detailed explanation of the mechanics of transcending\, and how we know if we’re transcending or not.  As it turns out\, meditators who thought they weren’t transcending were actually having the experience of Transcendental Consciousness\, a fourth major state of consciousness. Physiologists have called this a state ‘restful alertness’\, where the mind and body are resting profoundly and the mind is fully awake and alert. \nIf you’re wondering if you’ve transcended or not during your TM practice\, you’ll leave this talk realizing that you’ve been transcending regularly but were not aware of it! \nEnjoy this opportunity to meet other meditators and deepen your understanding  of your TM practice. You’ll leave feeling connected\, inspired\, and informed! \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
