“Reminiscing about Maharishi and the Founding of Maharishi International University” with Keith Wallace and Nat Goldhaber

Join us for this rare opportunity to hear Keith and Nat reminiscing about the time they spent working closely with Maharishi in the 1960’s and 1970’s and the roles they played in the founding of Maharishi International University.

Keith Wallace, PhD was the founding President of Maharishi International University and established the first Maharishi AyurVeda clinics in the United States. He is the author or co-author of over 60 scientific papers on TM and his seminal papers published in Science (in 1970), the American Journal of Physiology (1971), and Scientific American (1972), showed that the Transcendental Meditation® technique produced a fourth major state of consciousness different than waking, sleeping, or dreaming.

Nat Goldhaber, MA, EdD (H.C.) learned TM in 1965 and met Maharishi for the first time shortly after that. He started the TM Center in Berkeley in 1966, where thousands of students came to learn TM. In 1971, he proposed and helped found Maharishi International University, where he presently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees.

We imagine that this conversation will take us to delightful and unexpected places, through the decades and into the future, exploring our favourite topic, Transcendental Meditation
